If you have not received the ACH agreement from Multiplier, check your spam folder. If you still don’t see it, kindly contact your dedicated CSM.
There could be a few reasons why your ACH Direct Debit setup has failed:
Your Account number or Routing number was incorrectly added
Your bank has rejected the setup transaction
In either case, our team will reach out to you for the next steps, or you can also write to us at support@usemultiplier.com for any queries you may have.
To enable ACH Direct Debit for your business, there are two steps:
Direct Debit Setup: The setup can be done from your Settings option by following simple steps. An agreement will be sent once all the relevant documents have been uploaded and details confirmed. Once the client signs, our team will verify the same and validate whether any Debit Blocks that prevent direct debits from happening are present by submitting a zero-dollar payment request.
The timeline here will depend on when the client signs the agreement + 2-3 business days for a zero-dollar payment request.
Direct Debit Payments: Once the setup is complete, you can initiate payments from the Invoice Payments module on the Multiplier platform.
The timeline is 3-5 business days for funds settlement and payment reconciliation.

Additionally, our network covers most major banks. But if you don't see your bank, please contact support@usemultiplier.com.
A possible reason could be that your bank does not integrate with the NACHA-preferred Plaid verification integration.

Yes, Multiplier supports ACH automatic direct debits in the United States of America.
Email notification: You will be notified about the upcoming automatic debit 5 days before the invoice due date.
Actual debit: Multiplier will initiate a direct debit from your signed bank account 2 days before the invoice due date.
You can disable the automatic debit option anytime in the month. Once done, it will apply to any future pending invoices, i.e., while disabling automatic debit, if any invoices are in the Processing stage, they will continue to be debited.
Yes, once you have set up the ACH Direct Debit payment method, all invoice payments will be automated, provided the invoice follows the default payment terms of 7 days.
You cannot cancel invoices scheduled for automatic debits. If you have any questions about invoice details like amount or fees, you can raise a query, which will pause automatic debit for that particular invoice. Learn more here.
There could be multiple reasons why invoice payments are not auto-debited:
The invoices are created ad-hoc with payment terms less than the standard payment terms of 7 days. This will ensure that payments are not initiated automatically without an email notification of upcoming direct debits. In such cases, you can initiate payments from the platform.
You may have placed a debit block in your bank account. In this case, auto-debit will start working once you remove the block.
