Learn how to accept member-initiated resignations:
Upon an employee's request for early departure, the organization's administrator will be notified via email. This notification requires the administrator to confirm and approve the employee's proposed last working day.
Log in to your work email. Search for an email whose subject line reads as Resignation Request Initiated by (employee_name). Open the email.
In the email, you see the Complaint Last Working day and the Desired Last Working day of the employee. If you agree to the desired last working day, select Acknowledge resignation.
You are asked to log in to your multiplier account. Log in using your credentials.
You are redirected to the offboarding tab. Select Acknowledge & accept resignation from the lower right.
As per the contract, you get to choose if you wish the employee to pay any amount for early release. Select from the options:
Employee need not pay any amount
Employee needs to pay notice pay amount in lieu - If you choose for the employee to pay notice pay amount in Lieu, then select the number of days’ pay that needs to be paid.
The company will pay the notice pay amount in Lieu.
Note: The currency, here, Lieu, may change as per the employee.
Select Continue.
Resignation acknowledgement is now complete. The employee receives a resignation letter with the modified last working day. Once the employee signs, Multiplier will evaluate and complete the remaining formalities.

If you decide to modify the LWD before accepting the resignation, Select Modify LWD & acknowledge resignation.
Inform the employee about modifying the LWD. Once done, check the box next to I confirm I’ve informed my employee about modifying their LWD. Select Continue.
In the Modify Last Working Day dialog box. Select the new proposed last working day. If your proposed LWD is earlier than the contractual LWD, you will have to select one of the 3 options for notice period shortfall pay:
Employee need not pay any amount
Employee needs to pay notice pay amount in lieu - If you choose for the employee to pay notice pay amount in lieu, then select the number of days’ pay that needs to be paid.
The company will pay the notice pay amount in lieu(currency).
Select Modify LWD & acknowledge resignation.
Once the employee signs and accepts the modified LWD, the status of offboarding changes.
In this scenario, since the requested LWD complies with the contract, no company admin’s acknowledgment is needed—just the employee's signature on the resignation letter is sufficient. The employer will, however, receive a confirmation email informing them of the resignation request and the completion of the signature process.
Log in to your account using your credentials.
From the left sidebar, select Team. Then select the Offboarding tab. Select the employee employee name which says Off-boarding initiated.
On the employee profile, you will be able to see the status of the off-boarding, and also view the resignation document that has been signed by the employee.
