If you wish to hire an employee from Italy, you need to be aware of the job codes in Italy.

Italian law mandates employment contracts to include job codes. The job code in Italy refers to the numbers as per the salary cut-offs defined below.

This means that if the salary of the employee exceeds the salary cut-off of one level, say level 2, and is less than the salary cut-off of level 1, the employee will fall under level 1.

For example, if an employee's salary is 1600€, which exceeds the salary cut-off of level 7 but is under the salary cut-off of level 6, the employee will fall under level 7.
