Allow employees to raise hourly leave requests on Multiplier
Multiplier's leave policy creation feature enables you to allow employees to submit leave requests in hourly increments. This hourly leave request option can be activated even if your policy is primarily set up for day-wise requests. Learn the steps to create a leave policy that permits employees to raise hourly leave requests.
Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.
From the leftsidebar, select Settings > Company Settings.
In the Company Settings window, find and open Company policies.
Select Time off policies.
From the upper right, select Create new > New leave policy.
In the Create new policy window, use the Entity dropdown to select the entity for which you wish to create the leave policy.
Under Policy Basic details, use the Leave type dropdown to select any leave type.
Enter Policy Name and Policy Code.
For leave tracking and usage, you get two options:
Day - If you select this option, you also get the option to Enable Hourly Leave requests by selecting the checkbox next to Enable Hourly Leave Requests.
Hour - with this option, you can request leaves in increments of hour.

Select the type of leave entitlement. You get three options:
Lump sum (upfront) - Allocates the full annual leave balance at once.
Unlimited - No cap on annual leave allocation.
Accrual - Accumulate leave in periodic intervals.
To set the beginning of leave accrual for this policy, you have two options:
Immediately: Choose this to start the leave accrual right away.
After a specific period: Select this if you want the leave accrual to start after a set duration. If you choose this, you must specify the number of months or years after the employee's start date that the leave accrual should begin.
Select Confirm from the lower right.
In the Review and create policy dialog box, select Confirm and create policy.
The leave policy has been created successfully.

Once the leave policy has been created, you can add employees to this leave policy. Select Add employees, you should see a list of all the employees in the company. Select all or the ones you want to cover in this leave policy. Ensure that your team members learn to raise an hourly leave request.
