How to edit department details

To edit department information you can follow these simple steps to edit details of a department.

Step 1: In Team View click on the ‘Settings’ module on the left sidebar.

1.1) Click on ‘Company Structure’.

1.2) Click on ‘Departments’.

1.3) Click on the three dots box.

Step 2: Select ‘Edit Department’.

Step 3: You can now edit details like - Department Name, Description and Head of Department as well.

How to delete a department

Follow these simple steps to delete a department.

Step 1: In Team View click on the ‘Settings’ module on the left sidebar.

1.1) Click on ‘Company Structure’.

1.2) Click on ‘Departments’.

1.3) Click on the three dots box.

Step 2: Select ‘Delete Department’.

Step 3: The department will get deleted by clicking on ‘Delete Department’.

Note: In case you delete the department the employees of that department will not be assigned to any other department. However, admins can still assign those employees to their respective departments
