If you want to request a change in your last working day while resigning:

  1. Log in to using your credentials.

  2. From the left sidebar, select Employment details, and then from the menu that opens, select Employment details.

  1. In the Employment details screen, scroll down and select Request Resignation.

  1. Select the checkbox next to I confirm I’ve informed my manager about my resignation and then select Start.

  1. In the next screen, select change your desired last working day.

  1. From the calendar that opens, select your desired last working day.

  1. Select the Reason for resignation drop-down and select the appropriate reason. You can optionally choose to add any additional notes and upload any supporting documents.

  1. Once done, select Submit request.

Next Steps

Once the request is submitted, you see a dialog box with a message that your resignation request has been submitted. You also see the next steps.

Since you have requested a change in your last working day, your organization may:

Accept and acknowledge the last working day.

As soon as your organization acknowledges, you get an email to sign and confirm.

  1. Log in to your email and search for an email whose subject line reads as Last Working Day Aligned and Acknowledged for (Employee_name).

  1. In the email, select View and Sign Letter.

  1. Select Start.

  1. Select the Signature box. In the Signature dialog box that opens, add your signature either by drawing, typing, or uploading. Once done, select Accept and sign.

  1. Select the date, and then select Finish.

Your resignation is now confirmed.

Accepts and acknowledges the last working day, but asks you to pay for the shortfall days.

To understand this, let’s take an example:

If, as per your contract, your notice period is 30 days. Suppose you resign and will only serve a notice period of maybe 20 days. The notice period shortfall is 10 days.

You will be asked to pay for the shortfall of 10 days.

  1. Log in to your email and search for an email whose subject line reads as Last Working Day Aligned and Acknowledged for (Employee_name).

  2. Select View and Sign Letter.

  3. Your resignation is confirmed. Multiplier will reach out to you for further formalities.
