Add or edit dependent information to your insurance

If your organization offers insurance with dependent coverage, you can add, remove, or edit dependent information directly on the Multiplier platform. Learn how to:

Add dependents to your insurance

You can only add dependents if they have been assigned a family plan.

  1. Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.

  2. From the left sidebar, select Insurance.

  3. In the Insurance screen, scroll down and select (Add dependent) under Insured member details.

Note: You can see this screen only if your organization has provided insurance for you.

  1. In the Add Dependents screen, you see the details of your insurance. Select Add dependent.

  2. Enter the dependent details:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Relationship to you

  • National ID number

The fields may vary based on your country of occupation.
  1. Optional (Upload ID proof of the dependent.

  2. If you wish to add another dependent, select Add dependent and follow the same steps. Once done, select Continue from the lower right.

  1. Review the details and select Confirm and Submit.

The dependent details have been sent to Multiplier for review. The status of dependent is shown as Under review. Once the details are verified by Multiplier, the dependent is added.

Note:

  • You can only add dependents' details until the cutoff date. The cut-off date is displayed on the portal under Insured member details.

Edit dependent information in your insurance
  1. Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.

  2. From the left sidebar, select Insurance.

  3. In the Insurance screen, scroll down to Insured member details and select Review details next to Insured Members.

Note: You can only edit dependents' details until the cutoff date. The cut-off date is displayed on the portal under Insured member details.

  1. In the Dependent Details screen, select the and then select Edit details.

  1. In the Edit Insurance Details dialog box, select Save.

Your request to update dependent details has been submitted and is currently under review by Multiplier. The status will change to Approved once the details have been verified.

Remove dependents from your insurance
  1. Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.

  2. From the left sidebar, select Insurance.

  3. In the Insurance screen, scroll down to Insured member details and select Review details next to Insured Members.

Note: You can only delete a dependent until the cutoff date. The cut-off date is displayed on the portal under Insured member details.

  1. In the Dependent Details screen, select the ellipsis icon and then select Delete Dependent.

Once you've submitted the request to remove dependent(s), Multiplier verifies and approves.
