Employers may wish to provide their employees with additional compensation beyond their regular salary. To facilitate this on our platform, it is crucial to understand the functionality of pay supplements and additional pay items. This ensures that your employees receive their extra compensation smoothly and on time.
Employees may receive additional monetary compensation for their regular base/gross salary. This additional compensation is a pay supplement and can take various forms, including sales commissions, allowances, and bonuses.
The Pay Supplements module on our platform allows you, as an employer, to add and track these additional payments. You can choose from different pay supplement options to best describe the compensation you are providing.

There are four tabs in the pay supplements section:
The pending tab shows pay supplements that are pending from the employer. The employer needs to add/modify variable components for successful payroll processing in a given cycle. These variable components are system-generated based on the employee's contractual details.
Pay supplements will move to Processing after the cutoff date of their respective cycles.
The processing tab shows the pay supplements with the amount entered by the employer and submitted. It is now on Multiplier to process the amount as per the defined payment dates.
The completed tab shows the pay supplements that have been paid or revoked.
Pay supplements may need to be revoked if the employee’s compensation structure changes, the payment was added in error, or the supplement is no longer applicable. Revoking helps ensure payroll accuracy and prevents unintended payouts. Learn how to revoke a Pay supplement:
Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.
From the left sidebar, select Administration > Pay supplements.
In the Pay Supplements window, navigate to the tab containing the pay supplement you intend to revoke.
Note: You can only revoke pay supplements in the Action Pending or Queued tab.
Select the ellipsis icon () next to the pay supplement you wish to revoke and then select Revoke.
The pay supplement is revoked, and it is moved under the Completed tab.
The history view provides a chronological log of all actions taken on a pay supplement — including amount changes, status updates (e.g., paid or revoked), and key timestamps. It helps with audit readiness, transparency, and internal reviews. To view history: 1. Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.
2. From the left sidebar, select Administration > Pay supplements.
3. In the Pay Supplements window, navigate to the tab containing the pay supplement for which you intend to view the history.

Pay supplement type
