# Submit updates to approved timesheets as a Philippines employee

Submitting backdated timesheets is only available for EOR employees in the Philippines.&#x20;

You might miss out on an entry or two while submitting your timesheet. You need not worry, as Multiplier offers you the feature to submit backdated updates to timesheets that have already been approved. An edit can be made to an approved entry before it is processed in payroll or after it has been processed. Learn how to submit a backdated timesheet:&#x20;

1. Log in to Multiplier using your credentials.
2. From the left sidebar, select **Timesheets**.&#x20;

3. Select the timesheet to which you want to make the edits.&#x20;

4. Select the day for which you want to make the edits. Example: select an approved timesheet for 02 Aug, 2025.&#x20;

5. Make the updates. For example, you can increase or decrease the work time. You can add a break time.\
   **Note** - Ensure you add the reason for the change as it is mandatory.&#x20;

6. Once done, select **Update**.&#x20;
7. If you wish to make changes to any other day, repeat the process and then finally select Submit for approval.&#x20;

The timecard has now been sent for approval. The status changes from Approved to Submitted.&#x20;

> **Note:** The approval process is the same as approving any other timesheet. Your organization’s admin/manager has to approve the updated timesheet to ensure it’s procoessed for payroll. ### &#x20;Updating Your Timesheet: How It Affects Your Pay

<summary><strong>Scenario 1: Edits Made Before the Payroll Cut-off</strong></summary>

If you correct an approved timesheet entry before the cut-off, and the Updated entry is approved before the cut-off:

* The Result: Your upcoming payment will be processed as usual using the updated hours.
* Action Required: Ensure all edits are approved before the cycle cut-off date to avoid delays.

<summary><strong>Scenario 2: Edits made after payment or the payroll cut-off</strong></summary>

If you edit your timesheet after the cut off, or if the entry is approved after the cut-off date:

* The Result: Any difference in hours will be treated as an adjustment.
* Payment Impact: This adjustment will appear in your next payroll cycle. Depending on whether your hours increased or decreased, your next paycheck will be adjusted upward or downward accordingly.
