In the case of a fixed-term employee, your CSM will reach out in advance, informing you about the expiration date of the contract close to the date. This is done in order to check if the existing contract requires a renewal.

If there is no response and the contract expires, the following process is followed.

The legal team at Multiplier will check the country's labor laws to confirm if the expired contract can be renewed.

Post confirmation, the contract will be renewed by making an amendment, a document that is added to the existing contract and is legally binding, that states the extension/renewal of the contract and must be signed by your company signatory followed by the employee.

Note

  • The signatory will receive the renewed contract in their mail.

  • The signed contract will be sent to the employee in their mail for review & signature.

If the expired contract cannot be renewed due to certain country-specific labor laws, a new contract has to be created and signed by both the signatory and the employee.
