How to connect BambooHR with Multiplier
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Integrations’ module under the Settings section on the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click on “BambooHR”
Step 3: Click on “Connect”
Step 4: Enter your BambooHR sub domain and API key in the pop-up that appears.
Note:
For BambooHR subdomain: If you sign in at "acme.bamboohr.com", enter "acme". Do not enter the full "acme.bamboohr.com".
For BambooHR API key:
Log in to BambooHR as an admin
Click Account on the Home page
Select API Keys
Click Add New Key
Enter a name for the API key
Click Generate Key
Note: The API key will have the same permissions as the user who generated it. It's crucial that the user creating the key has access to the data being imported.
Step 5: Click on “Submit”.
Step 6: BambooHR is now successfully connected. Click on “Close”.
How to enable field mapping
To activate the integration and to ensure it functions smoothly, you must enable field mapping.
Step 7: Click on “Map fields”
Step 8: On the “Manage profile creator plugin”, you will be able to see all the entities of your organization. Click on “Map fields” for the entity where you need field mapping to be done.
Step 9: (Step 1 of 2 - Field mapping) Click on the drop down and select the corresponding field name on BambooHR. Repeat this for all the unmapped fields.
The unmapped fields will be highlighted in red, and you'll see a button displaying the number of fields that have been successfully mapped (e.g., 6/28).
Note: Some fields may not be available in your BambooHR instance by default. In such cases, you'll need to add custom fields. Click here to know how to create custom fields.
Step 10: Once all the fields are mapped, click on “Continue”
Step 11: (Step 2 of 2 - Field value mapping) Once the fields are mapped, you will also need to map the values of those fields
Field value mapping is a 1:many option, which means you can select more than 1 valid option (in this case, select both “Separated” and “Divorced” for the value “Divorced”)
Step 12: Once all the fields are mapped, click on “Complete mapping”
Step 13: The status will now change to “Fully mapped” and data sync can be enabled.
How to enable data sync between BambooHR and Multiplier
Step 14: Once done, you will see that all the entities are now fully mapped. Click on “Enable data sync”
Step 15: Turn on the toggle against the entity you want to integrate.
Step 16: Click on “Confirm”
Step 17: Integration is now complete and you will see the status “Fetching data from Multiplier”.
Step 18: A pop up will appear to confirm importing data from BambooHR to Multiplier. Click on “Continue”.
Step 19: Data import is now complete and you will also receive an email confirmation.
How to invite newly added employees to Multiplier platform
Step 1: Click on “Invite all” to invite newly added employees.
Step 2: Click on “Send invitation”. You can also deselect any employee if needed.
You will receive a confirmation pop up which says “Invitations sent”
Step 3: At any point in time if you wish to disable data sync, you can do so by disabling the toggle button and then click on “Turn off data sync”
Payslip Integration
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Integrations’ module under the Settings section on the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click on “BambooHR”
Step 3: Click on “Plugins”
Step 4: Click on “Enable” against Pay slips
Step 5: Select a relevant folder like “Playslips from Multiplier”
Note -The BambooHR admin will need to create the required folder for it to appear in the list.
After logging in as admin in BambooHR, go to My Info > Documents> Click on Add Folder icon > Give it a name and Save
Step 6: Click on “Save”
You will see a tag “Enabled” against Payslips which confirms the process is complete.
Timeoffs Integration
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Integrations’ module under the Settings section on the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click on “BambooHR”
Step 3: Go to “Plugins”
Step 4: Against the section of Time-offs, click on “Manage”
Step 5: Map the fields with Multiplier fields and click on “Save preference”
Step 6: Timeoff integration is now “Enabled”
How to remove BambooHR integration
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Integrations’ module under the Settings section on the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click on “BambooHR”.
Step 3: Scroll down and click on “Disconnect”
Step 4: Click on the three dots at the top right of the pop up.
Step 5: Click on “Deactive Integration”.
Step 6: Click on “Yes”
Step 7: BambooHR is now successfully deactivated. Click on “Close”.
